CAJUN CRAWFISH BOIL ATTRACTS OVERFLOW CROWD IN HOMER
Large bi-partisan crowd enjoys crawfish, jambalaya, gumbo, and music

Homer, New York (September 18, 2008) – Cortland residents enjoyed a taste of Cajun country last night as nearly 200 Mark Suben supporters enjoyed authentic Cajun fare and zydeco music. The event was hosted by Cortland attorney Van Kruman and Cortland business owners Gary Walter and Jennifer Gofkowski and held at the Homer Recreation Center.

Guests were treated to Louisiana crawfish, flown up from the bayou state for the occasion, jambalaya and seafood gumbo, along with fresh picked corn-on-the-cob from the Ellwood farm in Cincinatus.

“I was absolutely overwhelmed by the support tonight,” said Mark Suben, democratic nominee for District Attorney of Cortland County. “We have so much to talk about in this campaign and for so many to come hear this message shows that we’re on the right track to win in November.”

As a fund-raiser the event was enormously successful with all funds being added to the Suben for District Attorney campaign as it turns down the homestretch to Election Day November 4.
