Big Crowd Gives DA Candidate Suben Well Wishes at Dairy Parade over 40 bi-partisan supporters march with Suben at Cortland County event
Cortland, New York (June 3, 2008) - An impressive following of bi-partisan supporters marched with Cortland County District Attorney candidate Mark Suben to a warm welcome at one of Cortland County's most popular annual events, the Annual Dairy Parade.
Approximately 40 supporters lined up for the parade with the candidate, all donning white " Mark Suben For DA" T-shirts, about half of which had Republicans for Suben printed on the back of the shirts. Suben is the Democratic candidate, but clearly has the support of voters from all parties, all ages and all walks of life.
"I'm grateful for the support of so many friends who care about justice in Cortland, and who realize that justice requires a fair and competent DA, who understands who and when and how to prosecute,", Suben said.
Suben, riding on the back of a convertible, was flanked by his " posse" of about 40 supporters carrying a large Vote for Suben banner, and preceded by a Dixieland jazz band playing to the large crowds that lined the streets of downtown Cortland.
Mark Suben is a candidate for District Attorney for Cortland County in the general election, Tuesday, November 4, 2008.
